You know how I previously found a great hippie headband top to wear at the music festivals this year? Well, don’t try to step foot into a night music festival in that getup. You’ll stand out like a sore thumb. Since a mostrendy girl is always prepared, let me show you what I saw at the HARD Day of the Dead night festival in Los Angeles last weekend.
Glitter and costumes galore! Mostrendy girls love to sparkle, and what better way to do that than with twinkle toes? This festival goer was ready with her sparkly TOMS in two different colors, plus matching sparkly butterfly wings she made for herself. If I could be anything, I would actually like to channel Tinker Bell in the mostrendiest way as this girl has.
Then, I came across this guy who had on a fitted blazer/jacket (it was pretty cold that night) with a puffy glitter dreidel sketched on the back. You can’t see this in the photo, but later he put on a blue yarmulke (ya-ma-ka) to top off his Jewish Man costume. Unless it was not a costume.
Dress up can mean different things to different people, but at the HARD festival, I caught an eyeful of the most creative outfits I have seen in a long time. Who said the Halloween season is just for kids? One thing is for sure – dancing to Justice, Knife Party and Jack Beats is much more fun dressed as Tinker Bell.
